Rosehill House Hotel is a licensed venue for civil marriages. We are able to use Dugdales or our Victorian conservatory for these occasions. Dugdales sets the scene with its original hand painted gold leaf ceiling and ornate panelling and replace; dating back to 1856 they were all individually designed by an Italian architect and remain breathtaking features of the room.
Alternatively, choose our Victorian conservatory with a contrasting feel, sophisticated and modern with contemporary furnishings, this room makes a statement for that all important memorable day.
Whilst the guidelines from the registrar are quite rigid, our experience to date is that civil marriages have been wonderful happy events, and we make exceptional efforts to ensure their success.
It should be noted that the hotel is unable to make a reception booking for a civil marriage until confirmation of a registrar is obtained. You are required to pay the registrar fee direct.
As a small team, we offer a very personal service. On your initial visit we will take you around the hotel explaining the use of each room, thus enabling you to visualise your wedding day. If helpful at this stage, a costing based on your estimated number of guests can be provided.
